Bravo 2.3 6C33 Single-Ended Class A Integrated Amplifier

The sonic signature of the Bravo 2.3 with 6c33

The main power tube used is the 6C33 a high-current, low-impedance triode design originally used in the power supplies of the Russian MIG fighters, where it had to withstand forces up to 7 Gs. The tube's current delivery is exceptionally high, with more than 10 times the current capability of either the 6550s or KT-88s commonly found in tube amplifier designs.

The sound is well balanced, with the frequency range that is in the right proportions. Imaging that is very convincing in its depth and the positioning of voices and instruments in space. This sound stage is so real that it can have a presence in the room that is almost spooky.

Openness and transparency; speed, and immediacy comes to mind with rich harmonics and delicate details.

The Bravo 2.3 does not smooth off the essential transient and make things nice and smooth, and polite. The dynamics are remarkably forceful, and they come with inner detailing. The Bravo 2.3 is an amplifier makes its presence felt in the most subtle and desirable ways.

The Bravo 2.3 is able to tighten up the bass considerably and renders a high frequency response superbly. The 2.3 amp has the spectral response that is balanced and musical.

I always refer to this amp as magical in its sound stage and attention to detail.

Bravo 2.3 is a singled-ended class A i nte grated valve amplifier. The 2.3 is fitted with Russian 6C33 vacuum tubes and direct heated tube rectifiers for deriving a power output of 15W per channel. Acclaimed as all-round in performance with a capability of delivering vivid, dynamic and rhythmical sound in music reproduction, Bravo 2.3 brings listeners an impression of tonal balance in the entire frequency response. A step-less negative feedback control is equipped for adjusting signal feedback for meeting preference of listeners. Overlaid with hand finished solid wooden boards that is engraved with the Bravo logo and other indications, an elegant and stylish appearance is put in front of the audience. Made of aluminum alloy, the front panel of 16mm in thickness is also a representation of coherence in design of making the chassis robust and the gear working with durability.

Bravo 2.3 is an integrated valve amplifier, having a singled-ended class A circuit point-to-point wiring. This gear comes with Russian 6C33 vacuum tubes and direct heated rectifiers for a power output of 15W per channel. This tube-integrated amplifier delivers a vivid, dynamic and rhythmical sound. The Jas Audio Bravo 2.3 offers an awesome quiet sound stage. A step-less negative feedback control is equipped for adjusting signal feedback for meeting preference of listeners on the Bravo 2.3. A finished solid wooden board that is engraved with the Bravo logo has the appearance of a stylish elegance.

The Jas Audio Bravo 2.3 nails the midrange. It produced a sonic portrait packed with information and with the tonal color for which SET amps are celebrated. Unlike some SET products, there is nothing wimpy about the Bravo 2.3; it was very dynamic and punchy, displaying instrumentals and vocals with great detail and beauty.

The signal enters the Jas Audio Bravo 2.3 and goes through a single tube that serves as gain stage and driver stage. Then the signal enters the output stage. The Bravo 2.3 uses two huge 6C33 triode tubes in a single-ended-output configuration to produce 15Wpc along with two 6J4P driver tubes and two 5Z3P rectifiers. The use of a separate rectifier tube for each channel means plenty of current will be available."

The Jas Audio Bravo 2.3 achieves sound of amplifiers costing many times more. To say that the Bravo 2.3 is an audio bargain would be an understatement. The Bravo 2.3 is capable of meeting the sound quality of amplifiers costing many times more
